    Default Filtering problems

I need to have the database filter empirically instead of logically. I need to print a report 1 through 100 in ascending order, rather than 1 -10 through 19 then 2 - 20 through 29 and so on.

    Any ideas?

I don't see this is a database design question but.

The sort order you are experiencing is because you have digits in a character field. Character fields sort left to right.

Suppose you are now sorting on a field named "id". Change the sort to be on val(id).
