Default V8 field rules and client/server data?

Anyone testing V8 please shed some light on the use of field rules for non-dbf tables, passive link tables, etc... My main concern is using the posting rules in V7 for dbf tables but then having to create stored procedures for Oracle/Mysql tables in V8 because of incompatability.

    Thanks

I would be very surprised if posting field rules were to work for SQL-linked tables. You most likely will need to create stored procedures or SQL statements to do the types of updates that a posting field rule can do.
