Child database sort order

Using A5v1 I have created a form within a set that is linked by Lot_nbr to both the parent and child databases. In the child database I would like the sort order to be by the Lot_nbr then Grave_nbr. [1,2,3,4, etc]. The grave numbers seem to appear by record number. Can anyone come up with a solution?

I would think that using the form properties Filter/Order tab is the easiest way to do this (Right click on the form in design mode and choose Properties)---I don't have V1 however but would think this feature has been around for some time. From this area you can filter and/or Order whatever Table you want in the set.

When I get to Form Properties there is not a Filter/Order tab.

There must be quite a difference between V1 and V5 then and without knowing all the differences I would be hard pressed to be able to help you. If your version does not have form order/filter capabilities then I would suggest creating a query for the records and place your order equation in that.

Hopefully someone who knows what the differences are in V1 compared with later versions will contribute.
