Default Access Pervasive ISAM and P.SQL Data

I don't know if this is the correct forum, but I will start here...

Is it possible to access either Pervasive ISAM data, I assume through DDF's, or native Pervasive SQL files, in a A5V8 application?

    Thanks,
    Jim

I didn't spend a lot of time researching the answer for you other than to see that Pervasive is discussed in multiple threads. Have you tried searching thusly?

    Stan,

I have looked at the existing threads and they talk about a forthcoming ODBC connection (I think A5V7 is mentioned) but nothing really on how it is done is discussed. There has not been a lot of discussion for over a year now so I am not sure what the status of the connection issue is.

I can't say for sure how to do this. I would assume from some of the other messages that there appears to be a few people using ODBC to connect. So you would need an ODBC driver for your implementation of Pervasive. You might then want to look in the V8 manual and search for this topic as a starter: ADO/ODBC Form Genie. Shows you how to create a simple XDialog form to access an ODBC connected DB.
