Default Close "Find by Key" window

My Subscription Manager had a suggestion... Close the "Find by Key" dialog box when the enter key is pressed or the Find button is clicked. I tried closing adding an action to close the current window, but it closes the dialog box and the form.

I'm still learning this xbasic programming stuff, so can any A5 gurus help keep my Subscription Manager happy?

    The attached is my example.

    Thanks, Bob

Desktop app questions belong in another section.

Anyway, from your control panel menu, choose

    View
    Settings
    Preferences
    Find by Key
    Close After Find

and set the value to Yes

That is an option that is set by the local machine - view - settings....

Then each person can set those as wanted...

Thanks for the help... I'll explore settings and preferences in more depth before I ask another silly question!

You can do it right from the find by key dialog, press the button on the right "Set prefrences for this dialog box"
