http_post - body limited to 1024?

HTTP_POST( URL as C [, Body as C])

The Alpha help says for the Body parameter above "size of this field is unlimited". But I find it is lmited to 1024 (1027 in my expirement). I know it is not HTTP in general because I can use curl.exe to send and get a response from an HTTP post with 8000 characters (the max you can send via a command line).

Here is my test xbasic, where the length of the "really long text" was modified for each test. Over 1027 and it failed to find the server, 1027 or less returned a response. It did not matter if I broke it up into multiple parameters, read it from a file, etc. It did not matter if I removed the "?" and did not try to receive a response from the server.

Here is the http_remote.a5w file referenced above. It just returns the string and the length of the string.

The xbasic above is irrlelevent to the test because over 1027, it would timeout trying to find the server.

After testing, I see no bug here. Below is an interactive window session that demonstrates

1. http_post() properly POSTing a large body
2. the Application Server receiving it
3. the Application Server properly sending back a large response
4. http_post() properly accepting the large response and parsing it

This seems to indicate a problem in your A5W page itself.
