I've been reading several different articles here to see how they can help me with my issues, they haven't.
I dont want to go into the specs of my computer or that of the end users computer, I'll just leave it at "my computer is very fast and capable of running very intense softwares like Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk 3DS Max, Sony Vegas for Video Editing etc."
However, when Im using Alpha Five there are times when it just run real slow, then its worst for the end user. The reason Im not going to get into specs is because the scope of my question is outside of that. I want to know what all I should keep in mind when creating apps that will increase the speed of how the software run. For example, When I pass the mouse over buttons on a form the cursors slows down significantly, I realized that if I remove the "fly-over effect, it runs smoother. I dont really want to do that, I like when the buttons reacts to the mouse over, however, if this will make the end users experience with the software more comfortable, then that's what I'll do.
I spent some time trying to see if I removed the styles from m forms and leave then with the default windows look if that would help, it didnt. I wouldnt want to do that either, I love how the styles give my softwares a different classier look that what is the norm, but if it helped, I would do it.
So again, what are some of the things to keep in mind when creating apps in Alpha to ensure that the created app run at its fastest possible speed in the end?
Im most focus on desktop softwares at this point.
