Default QReportBuilder Leaving Sensitive Data in Temp Directory

I was looking for where QRB was leaving data that seemed to be session specific and, it appears, it is putting it in unsecured DBF files in Local Settings\Temp.

Now, under your average conditions this is not so much a security issue but if the system is compromised (a definite probability these days with all the trojan and spyware apps out there) or logins are shared (as is the case in many small offices) then this data is just hanging out there for anyone to go look at.

Why do you go to all the trouble to encrypt the data stored in teh QODBC OPT file if you are just going to leave it hanging out there on the drive in unprotected DFB files? Does not that sort of defeat the purpose of having an encrypted data file to begin with?

By the way, this happens when you browse a table from QRB.

Default My Bad, it Happens When You REFRESH not when You Browse

Can I change this behavior and, if not, can you recommend a way to make QRB delete the files when I exit the program?

I've discussed this off-board with Tom, but I have not been able to duplicate what he is saying is happening..... and I haven't heard back from him in a couple of days......

QReportBuilder encrypts all data extracted from QuickBooks in it's temporary files, you may be using an older version.
