    Default Microsoft Virtual PC 2007

Does anybody have any experience running A4V6 under WinXP using Microsoft Virtual PC 2007?

    Thanks,

I haven't tried Virtual PC as you described but I did try it for running A4V8 in Vista. I abandoned it because it doesn't support USB. Take a look at Innotek's VirtualBox http://www.virtualbox.org/. I use this to run A4V8 in Vista and it supports USB. I would think A4V6 would work fine with VirtualBox supporting an earlier OS.

By the way, Version 8 works fine in XP.

    Hope this helps.

    Hey Doug,

For me, A4V6 works faster on an older & slower machine running Win98 than A4V8 works on a newer & faster PC running WinXP. I have tried it on a couple different machine and all my result were there same. Actually, I posted someplace up on V6 or V8 boards results results from form loads (same forms) loading when using V6 and V8. Maybe I was setting something up incorrectly, and if I am, I've never figured out what it is.

Thanks for the info on the other virtual box software. I'll have to give it a look-see.

    Mike
