    Default Redirect target page

    How can I redirect the target page so that if the user selects See Jpg below)
    PDF it opens PDF.a5w
    JPG it opens JPG.a5w
    WORD it opens WORD.a5w
    EXCEL it opens EXCEL.a5w

    Thanks

    This is a dialog event, right Charlie?

    So, send your dialog redirect to a decision-making page, let's call it Decide.A5w. The AfterValidate event would pass along the variable, let's call it filetype.

    The code on Decide.A5W would look something like this:

    Code:
    <%A5
    select
      case filetype = "PDF"
         response.redirect("pdf.a5w")
      case filetype = "WORD"
         response.redirect("word.a5w")
    ..etc..
    end select
    %>

    No need for an A5W page, put Steve's code in the aftervalidate but change as follows:

    select
    case currentform.controls.filetype = "PDF"
    currentform.redirecttarget="PDF.A5W"
    case currentform.controls.filetype = "Excel"
    currentform.redirecttarget="Excel.A5W"
    ...etc
    end select

    where filetype is your radiobutton

    Well I must be the king of making it too complicated. That's why I still have several fine products sitting here 99% done, like the CAPTCHA module and my Alpha Web Task Scheduler.
