Default “Format style” in field format part of style?

It seems that we can change the colors, borders & alignment of a field while creating a style, but the “format style” does not become part of it.
Sample: I create dollar field style. It has color, borders, alignment and the “format style” defined.
Applying that style to other dollar fields it works well.
The “Format style” like 1,234.00 is not transfer with the style.
The original field that is used to create the style it does show the formatting when running, but the other fields where the style was applied do not.
1 Is “Format style” in field format part of style?
2 Am I missing some other setting?
3 Is there a better way to define dollar field style?
4 Is there a way to define style that will recognize a dollar field and format it, when a form is created as a default?

To copy the "format" style to another field

Right click on the field that you want to copy from

    Select Advanced
    Then select copy selected properties
    then select entry
and then check all three boxes width decimal and format
    save it

Now right click on the field you want to copy the format to

    select advanced
    then select paste selected properties
then save the form, the field that you copied the properties to will now have the same format as the field that you copied from.

It does work. But it is disappointing the effort. (to have to check all)
I am new in alpha and I love the options and controls available.
In this case perhaps(I am referring to this situation of the format style not being transfer)
is simpler to shift key the master field and select the other fields to apply the style.
Then open the newly applied field and change the format style.
I think the folks at alpha should consider to include that option as part of the style or when we select the advance key have an option “check all”.
One way or another it seems cumbersome.
Anyway thanks for the info. I did not notice the advance option , I think I may have additional uses for it.

There is a wishlist area appropriate for such suggestions which will probably be otherwise overlooked.
