Default How to Setup Security to Existing Sql Database

I have to integrate A5 with my current mssql database. currently the sql db has
    1. app_user to user table
    2. role for role table
    3. user_role to link user to role.

I looked and read on web security but could not find any guide on how to hook to sql server for web security.
Appreciate if any of the season A5 user can guide me to the right direction on this requirements.

    regards

This is my first attempt to connect to the sql server and so far I hit a brick wall on this security setup.

Web security in alpha5 has nothing to do with security/role assignments in SQL server.

I read the feature but there is no guide on how to connect to existing sql database with the current security setting. I had to use these tables in the sql db because a lot of use already registered in the db

I am thinking you need to explain what type of security you are referring to since A5 security and mssql security are two different types of security.

Also what steps have you taken? Has anything worked? What issues have you come up against? Have you tried to link to any table in the mssql database?

Maybe create a seperate table in mssql and then try to establish an active link. See how that goes.

Seconding Dan's post - it sounds like you are getting confused over SQL database security vs. web security. What are you actually trying to achieve???

what want to achieve is to setup application login security and authorization. Not the database security.
We want to web enable our current application and the data is in mssql.
All user login id/password is in the mssql table and each user can have many role ( also kept in mssql table userrole )

What I understand is A5 keep the user login/password and role in A5 dbf table.
When user login thru new A5 web page, I want to check authenticate from the mssql table.
