    Default Letters vs Reports web app

    Hi all
    I've been creating reports for my web app with no problems, today I tried a letter but for some reason it won't work.
    In the Activate I have:

    dim reports as c
    reports = <<%text%
    ELC|ELC@[PathAlias.ADB_Path]\reg-courseset.set (<-normal report)
    Letter3|Letter3@[PathAlias.ADB_Path]\sr.set (<-Letter)
    %text%

    In the AfterValidate I have:

    report = alltrim(CurrentForm.Controls.ReportList)
    dim filter as c
    dim order as c
    Filter = ".t."
    Order = ""
    Dim filename as c
    filename = session.session_folder + "tempreport.pdf"
    filename = report.saveas(report,"pdf",filter,order,filename,.f.)
    if file.exists(filename)
    currentform.RedirectTarget = session.session_url + "tempreport.pdf?" + time("hms3")
    end if

    And the error is:

    Errors in: event.AfterValidate code:

    Amyuni Low Level Print:
    Layout name: Letter3@c:\data\mywebapp\data\sr.set
    Layout type: report
    Report not found: 'Letter3@c:\data\mywebapp\data\sr.set'.

    Do reports and letters operate differently in the web app, am I doing something wrong, or am I completely mi ssing something that's staring me in the face?

    Thanks

    John

    Just a quick glance would say that you should be using:

    letter.saveas() instead of report.saveas().

    Might check that first.

    Bingo! That worked.

    I obviously still have lots to learn:)

    Thanks Mike.
