    Default Help in v10

I need to add a button to a grid which lets me update the data of that specific record through ajax , is this possible? And if the answer is yes can someone tell me what JavaScript do i need for this. Maybe later alpha could add this function to the action script in JavaScript events.

    Sure,
    this is the situation:
    • I have an expandable grid
    • The parent grid is read only
    • The child grid is updatable and some of the fields are included in both the parent grid and the child grid
    • So when one of this "shared" fields is modified in the child grid the parent grid will not be updated until the hole page is reloaded

what I need is a button that when clicked updates the parent grid data through ajax

    Regards Mauricio

OK - just did it - BUT you need to use the detail view to achieve - watch the video.

Set Only show detail view on request.

I just saw your video thank you for taking the time to record it, but in this case I dont want to use grid detail.

Do some one knows how the Ajax callback Actionscrpt works (in java script events)?
