"File Select" Control reverts to "Type in Field"

Hi

I have a simple form with a field that is based on a variable.

If I change the control type from the default "Type in field" to "File Select" and save, it works okay.

However, as I develop other parts of the form, I periodically test the functionality ... as you do ... and I find that the control often reverts back to "Type in Field" without any intervention from me.

Anyone else experienced this?

I haven't seen this problem but I've place a file select field on my form and as I'm working with it I'll keep an eye on it.
