    Default Detail View Frame Sizing

Attached are two images showing settings and the grid detail view with frames. Is there a method to size the frames so that the upper two frames are the same and teh bottom two frames are the same? I relaize that teh frames may expand depending upon field data length, but if I could impose a minimum so it looks right?

    eh?

Only way I can think of is:

    1) use a non proportional font
    2) make all labels as big as your biggest label
    3) set the width of each field same length

I agree it would help to set the frame length / height directly

    regards, Ron

Thanks Ron. Maybe I'll try making the first field the same width, that will solve the Hz problem. I already rearranged fields a little for vertical effect. Yeah, they should give us a minimum sizing option.

You would still have to make at least one label the size you want in each frame to bring them in line.

The other day Selwyn pointed out that the frame sizing, etc. can be controlled by the Frame Border Style setting. It was there right in front of me.

    See attached image...

    You gotta love the flexibility.

Here's a question: Is there such a thing as (a user defined) tab order on a web form?

    Hi Peter,

I don't see any attached images and this is something I need to do also. Do you have those images anywhere so you can repost them?

I have a frame with 4 fields, next to it a frame with 5 fields and next to the a frame with 7 fields, I'd like to have all the frames be the same size, I just can't see how to do it. How did you do it using the Frame Border Style setting?

    Thanks

    -John

Never mind. I changed the style from modern to simple, went to Frame Border Style and changed the height. It appears to work.
