    Default Transaction List by Customer with Date

    I am trying to copy the Transaction list by Customer report from Quickbooks to use as a foundation for modified report. I have found this report on the list, and the picture shows all needed fields, but when I click through the report shows up without the Date Field, and I do not see Transaction Date as a field option.

    Any help to show me what I am missing is greatly Appreciated.

    Dave,
    Your thread got buried somehow! If you still need help the following is what you need to know.

    When you first create the report there is a screen that lists the fields you wish to bring across....Date is most likely the field you want. If wanted, you do not have to start a report from scratch, but can instead modify what is brought across by editing the datasource definition. Click top menu-->View-->Choose change to Control Panel (bottom of the dropdown list). Click on the Table tab-->Navigate to the table the report is based on--most likely it starts with "qb" followed by the report name as QRB uses this as its naming scheme. Right click on the table and choose Passive Link Table-->Edit Datasource Definition. A couple of pages in this will bring up the screen again that has the checkboxes to choose fields. You must have your Quickbooks open to do this.

    In this report I have limited the txntype to "payment" and I also want to add a date filter. My filter expression looks like this,

    txntype="payment"
    .AND.
    Date>=Var->askD_Beg_Date .AND. Date <= Var->askD_End_Date

    For some reason, the only output is with in the last week. There is no other payments showing for previous weeks/months. Is this a problem with my filter statement, or maybe something with me updating my tables ? Though I believe I have updated what needs to be updated, so I'm not sure.

    Dave,
    Best way is to actually use a browse to look at your data that is in QRB to see what is there. If the data is there, then must be the filter although it looks fine.
