Default Simulating Excel using Browse

Hi,
I have been asked to provide a feature similar to Excel, where the left column can be scrolled up and down, and the right 10 columns - which are too wide for the screen, can be scrolled left and right.

I have tried using 2 browses and it works after a fashion, but when scrolling down in the left browse, the corresponding record in the right hand browse is always at the top.
This means that the two rows are out of synch when reading across.

Is there a way of keeping the two browses in synch as you scroll down?

Don't need to. Check the help index, Browse, Splitting.
There can be only one.

Thanks Stan, I searched Help but obviously not thoroughly enough.
The splitter handle works on a purpose built browse, but not on a browse created from the Toolbox. Guess I'll have to create separate browses, but that will be easier than fiddling with the screens.

Regards, ted

help file:

lookup Browse
lookup spliiting under that

you acn get quite a bit

like:
Splitting a Browse
Splitting a browse lets you view the multiple copies of the same browse in the same window, side-by-side. This can be helpful when a browse is wider than the screen, or when you want to work in different areas of the browse simultaneously. You can split a browse up to three times for a total of four sections. [Picture]

Browse Splitting Handle
To split a Browse:
1.
Move the mouse over the left edge of the browse window.

When the Browse Splitting Handle appears, click and drag the splitting bar to the right, to where you want to divide the Browse.
2. Repeat the process to split the browse up to three times. [Picture]

Thanks both. I really must stop drinking home brew:D.

Got it now, and it's funny but I have recently been telling someone that "if there is anything you want to do, Alpha has already thought of it!"

Problem solved.
