Upgrade Alpha 5 Version 3 to Current Version

I have used Version 3 for many years and now have a new computer with Vista migrating to Windows 7. Version 3 can't be installed. If I buy the current version of Alpha 5, will I be able to import all of the data files I've created in Version 3?

Also, if V3 runs in XP and you buy the right flavor of Win 7 (Ultimate, professional or enterprise), you could download and install virtual xp in Win 7 and run V3.
