Default Netmailer "failing" valid email address

i have set everything up for netmailer but having one last problem. I have configured the "user profile" to match my outlook settings exactly, but here is the problem i'm having.

With any email addresses that come from my own domain, it works fine, so if i send lynda@p3softwaresolutions.com, or diana@p3softwaresolutions.com - it sends.. or if i mis-spell lynd@p3softwaresolutions.com... it fails.. This part works as it should.

However, any emails that don't have the @p3softwaresolutions.com extension - fail, even though i know they are valid email addresses. I can send the same email from outlook, but not netmailer.. anyone had this problem, or know what i'm doing wrong?

Here is the "error message" i get in the history file after on the ones outside of the @p3softwaresolutions.com

553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list

This is not an alpha issue but rather an Outlook one to prevent spamming.

    Try:
1-Uncheck Server Required Authentication (not sure if Outlook allows that)
    2-Change your SMTP,
    3-if not, contact your ISP.

i unchecked the Server Required Authentification, still doesn't send outside of @p3softwaresolutions.com email addresses?

when i "test" the profile, this is what i get

    ---
Connect to Outgoing (SMTP) Server succeeded.
    ---
Login to Outgoing (SMTP) Server succeeded.
    ---
    Test e-mail send succeeded.
    ---
Connect to Incoming (POP3) Server succeeded.
    ---
Login to Incoming (POP3) Server failed:
The user name or password might be incorrect.
    ERR-ERR Login failed.

** The user name and password are the same as in my outlook however?

when i change back to "My outgoing server requires... This is the error i get

    ---
Connect to Outgoing (SMTP) Server succeeded.
    ---
Login to Outgoing (SMTP) Server failed:
The user name or password might be incorrect.
    535 auth failure

Seems like you got the original issue fixed but now you have an issue with login.
Uncheck the server authentication as you did and double-check your login user ID/password. You might also try to use something other than POP3, maybe mail.your_server.com

I was finally able to get this fixed and working. I assumed that i needed to setup the email profile settings to match my "outlook" settings. But because my ISP is Comcast, that is the settings i needed to setup in the profile. I just had to call them and they gave me all the settings i needed. Now it is sending correctly.

THANKS TO PHIL FOR THE HELP HERE!!!!
