    Default Schedules in date/time order FYI

    Hi Gang

    I can't contribute much here with the limited knowledge I have of A5, but I thought I might pass on something I found works for me.

    If you have time fields in your tables saved as character fields (like I do coming form A4), and you want to have your reports (for schedules etc) print out in date/time/room order, I found this formula works great.

    cdate(Sched->whateverdate)+substr(Sched->Last_Time,6,2)+Sched->Last_Time+Sched->Lastroom.

    Plug that into your report filter. Works great.

    This might save you from having to perform the tricky process of changing the time character fields to time fields.

    Hope this helps someone.

    Rick

    Actually plug it into the "Order" area of the report.
