    Default Printer Watch

Hi does anyone know of something that will watch a printers status and if it has a certain amount of things in the queue to delete them?

The Amyuni driver is locking up and I need something to clear it out if it does.

First off you are posting in the application server forums. I am not sure if you mean the Amyuni driver running on the machine hosting the WAS or an Amyuni driver running on the client machine. I have no experience if the any of the examples below will work in your environment. There maybe some built in alpha5 functions that will do the same as these VBScript samples but I am not aware of them.

Thanks I know that I am in the Web forum that is where I am having a problem.

The script from the bottom one works great

    Cscript %WINDIR%\System32\Printing_Admin_Scripts\en-US\Prnqctl.vbs -x -p alphafiveprinterv4

Now I just need to get it to be run by an alwaysup sanity check.

    Chad (Andrew),
You can utilize VBS scripts in Alpha....either with sys_open() or Alpha's built in function called A5_Run_VBScript() . It does open up things when able to do such! :)
