    Default Connection Problems

Just came back from the Alpha training, I would recommend it to any serious Alpha user. The problem I am having right now is when I do a Live preview on my training components that we build I get this error.

Error opening Grid table/view: Database API specific error

Your database has returned the following error code and description to Alpha Five.
Consult your database documentation for further information.

-1023 - '[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] '(unknown)' is not a valid path. Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides.
    SQL State is: HY024
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed
    SQL State is: IM006
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed
    SQL State is: IM006'

I dont know what I am doing wrong.

    Thanks

Is this the same database, connection string, etc. that we used in class? And it did work, but now does not?

If your path has an apostrophe in it anywhere (such as c:\jay's_data), you are going to have problems. If this is the case, rename the folder to eliminate the apostrophe, and try again. If this does not do it, post your connection string.

I got it to work: the connection string file path was pointing to the wrong drive on my PC. I had my files on my external drive of F: but it was pointing to C:, I did change it to F and it works now.

    Thanks all
