    Default Lost Password Recovery not recognising email profile

    As the title says I am having problems with the Lost Password Recovery routine not recognising an email profile set up on the web application server. The profile IS working elsewhere in my application (ie when a new user is entered into the system) but when trying to recover a password the component goes to the alternate method. I have tried different email profiles and also left the option blank but nothing works!

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    I am getting this too. Did anyone ever solve this problem?

    Also have this problem. I tested the smtp mail server from the settings and received a test mail but will generate an email for lost/recover password.

    Going to give this a bump.

    Has anyone had any Joy.

    Test email sends - I have setup the Email Config on Both the App Server and in the Project but still no joy.

    I'm having the same problem. Email profile seems to be working fine with test. But password recovery defaults to "alternate method", only giving the option to click a link to send an email.

    Has anyone had success getting the email to fire off automatically?
