Default Any more discussion of WAS as a Framework Add to IIS

I have been out of this world for some time now. I'm now the Development Manager at a software and services company in my region, and it only just occurred to me that I should evaluate V10 for the type of work we do. I'm going to be spending the weekend doing so.

I *think* I remember some dialog in the past about the possibility that WAS might someday be shipped as an add-on to IIS. Has there been any recent dialog on this? Is it in the roadmap for the future?

I dont think thats going to happen on the near future, there used to be a very obscure apache module which was discontinued and incompatible with v10 I think
    Cheers

    Not understanding the Apache reference.

I'm pretty sure there had been talk at some point about delivering WAS a different way. It's been a while, and I'm getting older, so it's entirely possibly I made it up in my mind. :)
