I'm not sure what's going on. My application has been running fine for 8 months. I make a few changes and now I'm doing nothing but chasing after issues.
I reverted back to original design but Alpha is not reacting the same as it used to.
I don't read anyone else reporting these types of issues. This has been going on for about 2 weeks now.
This is important, who can I turn to for support.
I have made changes to table structures before without a problem, add, change, delete fields, no problem. Now I try to make a change to a table and I get an out of memory error. What's that all about. Never had this before.
I reinstalled Alpha without a patch and if I start my app, I get warnings when opening my forms. After I do a patch the warnings disappear and the forms open fine.
I go to change my table structures and I get the out of memory error.
It is not my OS because I have tried this on 3 computers. Each one gives the same response. Out of Memory.
Upon further investigation, I'm finding that some tables can be changed while others cannot. So that shows it's not the applicaiton but more so the contents of the table.
What kind of anomalie would attach itself to a table to make it behave in this manner.
Is it possible that the configuration of a field rule or the contents of a piece of data would affect it in this manner.
Is there a utility that can check the validity of a table structure.
