Folder Upload ?????

What about a folder upload option? Unless there is already a way to do this that I am unaware of, it would be very useful in my application.
An image folder that contains all the images that are linked to fields using image reference fields. This would prevent the extra step of using an ftp program to upload the images.

Desktop, Web Side, or both?

And is this request for Action Scripting or xbasic? Desktop has the COPY_FOLDER() function which will do what you want there.

Folder upload for a Web App is what I would like to see. The perfect place would be at the point in the publish process where you have the choice to choose the data files to publish. You can choose a file, but not a folder.

You need to add a java applet to your application, like the one at Aurigma. Alpha by itself cannot upload anything other than one file at a time. It is a HTML issue, not Alpha's.
