Default $$M extension to some files

    Hi
I have been using Alpha products for some 15 years now but have come across a new problem today. After deleting some (unused)tables from a large database I now am unable to load the majority of my custom forms nor am I able to open some of the tables from the tables tab. I keep getting a message that the memo field is unable to open and I get no further. I have noticed I have several files in the folder where my data is with the table name and a $$M extension. I suspect these might be my memo data but not sure how, if I can, recover them. Before you ask I dont have recent backup (stupid boy). Any help much appreciated, thanks
