Ok, this is going to sound crazy but.....
I am just now being allowed to upgrade to version 10 from version 4 so I will have numerous numerous conversation issues I'm sure. I have a very detailed application that I run at least once a month, and I am using the trial issue of version 10 to hammer out some of these conversion issues.
For now, I have a script that runs various operations, and the first couple of operations in this one in question seem to work fine. Here is one of the operatons that does not.
Summarize.Run_Silent("sum to [email protected]")
This is one that I can run properly within the operations window, but it must be run silently. This is the erorr I get when it gets to this line item.
Script.appendtxtax line: 7, Summarize.run_silent("Sum to [email protected]") object does not support requested interface.
I tried recording in the script recorder but all it keeps doing is recording things like activating this and closing that, so that doesn't do anything. Maybe there is another approach to doing what I am needing to do with this operation.
I am sure the answer is very elementary, but at this point I need to work as quickly as possible rather than finding the right help file or migrating all the tutorials to learn the differences between versions.
Thanks for your help
Bruce
