Listing total number of records in a report

I'm designing a report form to allow printing lists of a number of different categories of books, basing each report on a different saved query. I would like to have each report indicate at the top how many books are in its category, but I don't know how to do this. Thanks for any clues! Richard Overman

Sorry to take so long to reply.

The most efficient way to do this is to build an operation to summarize the data and then make a html listing.

Use printhtml() to print in the report header.
