Passing a parameter from a form to a email script

I have a email script that I want to call from a form to print the current record on the form.

What happens now is I print the 1st record in the table.

With A5, I have no idea how to pass the c_id of the current record to the script.

Here is the code to open the table in the email script.

'get the table in focus to get the information for the email
dim te as p
te=table.open("email_form")
' Here, I need to filter the te.c_id to be the same c_id that is on the form.

Can someone give me some clue or an example how to go about this.

if c_id is the object name of the c_id field on the form and c_id is a character field value...........

dim te as p
te=table.open("email_form")
te.query_create("N","c_id = "+quote(c_id.value))

If you are querying the same table upon which the form is based you don't need to reopen the table. You could use

te=table.current()
or te = table.get("email_form")
