    Default Fixed Grid - Scroll Bars and Headers

    I just love the fixed grid in a tabbed UI and t is working well.

    Is there anyway of getting rid of the main browser scroll bars so that I just have the vertical scroll bars in the fixed grid.

    Also, is it possible once the tabbed UI is loaded I can collapse the Header that I have my masthead in to create more space.

    Thanks

    Chris

    I had a go at collapsing the tabbed UI header with the help of some code I came across. This used a button to expand and collapse the header

    1) Add a button in the Tabbed UI Controls. Use button text of Expand Header and make a note of the id of the button. In this example it is BUTTON_1001

    2) In the onclick event of the button add inline javascript with
    Code:
    toggle();
    3) In Javascript function declarations of Tabbed UI Properties add the following code

    Code:
    function toggle() {
    	var ele = document.getElementById("toggleText");
    	var text = document.getElementById("displayText");
    	if(ele.style.display == "block") {
        		ele.style.display = "none";
        		document.getElementById("BUTTON_1001").innerHTML="Expand Header";
      	}
    	else {
    		ele.style.display = "block";
    		document.getElementById("BUTTON_1001").innerHTML="Collapse Header";
    	}
    }
    4) In javascript to run on startup under Tabbed UI Properties add
    Code:
    toggle();
    - this exapnds the header when the tabbed ui is first opened

    5) Put a div around your header detail with an id of toggleText

    Hope this helps.
