    Default Chart View - Series Label and Colors

    1) How do I change the series label on a bar chart? The default is series_1 and I cannot find an option to change.

    2) How do I change the colors (if its possble) of a bar chart? The default is blue.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    What charting program are you using? SimpleChartLite or Fusion Charts?

    Thanks, Pat. I'm not using a separate charting program - just using the new charting feature in V11.

    Didn't know about the charting in V11. I've been using Fusion charts, which is great, and was never interested. Anyway, this was in the WIKI

    chart-client-area {background-color:#ffcc00;}
    chart-grid {color:#ff9900;border-style:dotted;border-color:#ff9900;border-width:1px;}
    chart-series {font-family:Segoe Script;font-size:10pt;}
    chart-title {font-family:Tahoma;font-size:16pt;color:Red;}
    chart-x-axis {font-family:Courier New;font-size:8pt;color:Sky Blue;border-color:Red;border-width:1px;}
    chart-x-axis-title {font-family:Courier New;font-size:8pt;color:Blue;}
    chart-y-axis {font-family:Courier New;font-size:8pt;color:Green;border-color:Red;border-width:1px;}
    chart-y-axis-title {font-family:Courier New;font-size:8pt;color:Light Green;}

    So, I would presume that there are overrides, so maybe you can add a color to the chart-series style, so try something like
    chart-series {font-family:Segoe Script;font-size:10pt;color: green;}

    Hi Pat.

    I also would like to use the Fusion Charts but I can't get the genie to work. I mean the genie I downloaded for money. It keeps showing the graph for the first record only, no matter what I do. (the linking field inside the genie code is set to ID but still).

    Can you help me with the genie in making it to work ?

    Thanks.

    To change a Series label do the following.
    1. On the Chart Properties, click "Chart Definition" button.
    2. "Graph Data" window should appear. Click on the "Data" button.
    3. "Pick Series to Display" window should appear. Select the Series you want.
    4. Type the desired label for the selected series on the "Label" field.

    To change the color of a graph do the following.
    1. On the "Graph Data" window, click on "Chart Style" button.
    2. "Chart Style" window should appear. Click on "Series Styles" tab.
    3. Set the number of series styles defined.
    4. Set the color of each chart type.
