I have a simple grid which pulls records via an SQL query. It is display only, has fixed column widths with Grid Body Can Scroll checked and a Detail View to update records.
One of the columns ("Charge") is numeric, is the rightmost column in the grid, and I've set the field's properties to yield a Total Summary Value to show on the last page only. When the grid displays and I switch to the last page I find that the label "Total" actually appears in the "Charge" column, with the value cut off as it extends beyond the right edge of the grid. Aesthetically it stinks but the only important thing is that my clients can't read the total. There's no way.
I did some experimentation and created a simple read-only grid with the same columns to eliminate any customization issues I may have introduced in the original grid. What I've found is that the culprit is the "Grid Body Can Scroll" property. If this is NOT checked then the Total field appears appropriately; otherwise, the total itself is pushed off the right edge of the grid.
Has anyone run into this issue? I am using the latest Pre-release (since my clients NEED to have published session variables in their grids) but my guess is that this problem exists in the last release Build (I don't have it installed to check). Reason I ask is that my understanding is that I can't submit a Bug report for the pre-release but CAN for a released Build. Of course I'm willing to allow how this might be "pilot error"; in particular, and I haven't thought about this, perhaps logically Grid Body Can Scroll and Summary Values on the last page are inconsistent. Don't know, but thought I'd ask.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.
