Change web user from an group to another

Hello,
I made a user self registration on my web site. First I let the user to select the group to which he belonged but then I thought it's not a good idea. Now the default group is "Users". How can I change the user from "Users" group to another? Is there any security function can do this?

I tryied to make a function to save the new group for a user. It's seems like working but it's not reflect on the framework. Where is the problem? What I am doing wrong?

I'm still waiting an answer. I read again the documentation http://wiki.alphasoftware.com/~alpha...alues+Function and I think I did the same. The groups are valid.

are you using a dialog built with edit security user template?
if you have an administrator menu and there if you have a grid displaying all the users and you can place a button to call to edit the security user and assign new group.
is that not possible?

It is possible but I don't like the default security dialog. Finally I made another function to assign the groups. It's the first time when I work with dfb and I don't know if it is ok.

By the way, is there any way to personalize the dialog? Translate it to another language,etc?

The solution is to use request.

result = a5ws_Save_WebUser_Values(output, uservalue, request)
