Geolocation Timestamp Convert

Hi guys,

I successfully get the latitude, longitude and timestamp into a target dialog by using the map controls.

Is there anyway to convert the Geolocation timestamp from the map controls to a date/time value?

timestamp value I get example is this 1700211759386
and I want to convert this into a date/time value.

Please help me guys. TIA

---If this is the format that you'd like, then I'd put it in the on-change event or however you're pulling the info in, then just change the alerts to a set value.

I appreciate your suggestions and solutions, which I found to be extremely helpful. The only issue I now have is that the time it is released differs from the time I am using it. In order to match my time here, I must add +8 hours.

How can we increase the function's duration by +8 hours?

I think you need to add 3600*8*1000 to the geoTimestamp

Sometimes better thoughts come a bit later.
This iteration lets you send the timezone offset with the function call.

function convertGeoDate(geoStamp,tzOffset){
var geoDate = new Date(geoStamp);
geoDate.setHours(geoDate.getHours() + tzOffset)
return geoDate.toISOString().substring(0,19).replace('T',' ')
