Bonus TIPS for Successful Posting

Try a Search First
It is highly recommended that a Search be done on your topic before posting, as many questions have been answered in prior posts. As with any search engine, the shorter the search term, the more "hits" will be returned, but the more specific the search term is, the greater the relevance of those "hits". Searching for "table" might well return every message on the board while "tablesum" would greatly restrict the number of messages returned.

When you do post
First, make sure you are posting your question in the correct forum. For example, if you post an issue regarding Desktop applications on the Mobile & Browser Applications board , not only will your question not be seen by the appropriate audience, it may also be removed or relocated.

The more detail you provide about your problem or question, the more likely someone is to understand your request and be able to help. A sample database with a minimum of records (and its support files, zipped together) will make it much easier to diagnose issues with your application. Screen shots of error messages are especially helpful.

When explaining how to reproduce your problem, please be as detailed as possible. Describe every step, click-by-click and keypress-by-keypress. Otherwise when others try to duplicate your problem, they may do something slightly different and end up with different results.

A note about attachments
You may only attach one file to each message. Attachment file size is limited to 2MB. If you need to include several files, you may do so by zipping them into a single archive.

If you forgot to attach your files to your post, please do NOT create a new thread. Instead, reply to your original message and attach the file there.

When attaching screen shots, it is best to attach an image file (.BMP, .JPG, .GIF, .PNG, etc.) or a zip file of several images, as opposed to a Word document containing the screen shots. Because Word documents are prone to viruses, many message board users will not open your Word file, therefore limiting their ability to help you.

Similarly, if you are uploading a zipped archive, you should simply create a .ZIP file and not a self-extracting .EXE as many users will not run your EXE file.

    Radio buttons on mobile

I want my radio button text to automatically wrap when it gets to the end of the page (i.e. I have my radio button control in a repeating section that has its width set to 100%, it is also wrapped in a panel). Some of my options (which are being dynamically created using the a5w_radiobuttons xbasic method) are too long and so the text just gets cut off at the end. I can set the width of the container to a larger size which fixes this but that doesn't work well on mobile because there is then a lot of scrolling that has to be done (not an issue for me but my clientele enjoy complaining a lot about having to scroll). I want to build a single UX that can be loaded with my data for both desktop and mobile and just have it render correctly. I tried to set the width of the repeating section to a smaller value (say 320px; because I know that will fit most mobile devices in portrait mode), but then the text of these extra long radio button gets pushed to the line below the radio button (which looks awful)...

I have to say this is mind boggling that this has been the only reason I can't call this UX component done and before I go rearranging the database I'm hoping a guru here can point me in the right direction. I know there is a style property of the a5w_radiobuttons method but everything I've done in there has done nothing (I've tried floating, width, and inline-block). I also believe there are Class and spanClass properties of the a5w_radiobutton method but every time I change something here my radio buttons no longer render...

Please save me from going insane!

What about rendering them as a Button List? This is a little more friendly IMHO for mobile apps anyway and might be a decent solution.

Yeah that's what I wanted to do originally but the a5w_radiobuttons xbasic method doesn't work with that, however finally I came across how to dynamically set the options of a radio button that is rendered as a button list so I got it all figured out (still upset that it took me all day to find that video even though I searched the same exact thing over and over on google). Also, since we use the MobGray style this made it look like the button list was going to render really ugly but once I switched it to the iOS7 style it rendered nice and works for both mobile and desktop! Thanks for the response though!
