I have been running two instances with separate configuration files for quite some time now but after installing AS for IIS I seem to have an issue that I never did before and I cannot solve it.
I have TWO instances running of the regular AS server - latest official build.
One instance is on port 80 - (my website built in WebPlus is in the folder the cfg file uses for port 80)
One instance is on port 443 - (my application built in AA is in the folder the cfg file uses for port 443)
So the content of each is served from a different folder and each contains separate cfg files.
You can view the contents from the port 80 instance here - this is my IP address.
http://184.172.107.2:80
So what that tells me is the instance of AS server is still there working from the correct unaltered cfg file, however, if you enter simply "www.nwcopro.com" you will automatically get directed to port 443 - this has been working for quite some time as expected.
Before if you entered www.nwcopro.com into your browser you would get the content from the port 80 folder as evidenced by the IP with the port since it is still obviously working and serving the content.
If you entered https://www.nwcopro.com you would get the content served from the "443 folder" and config as per the instance referencing port 443 - this still works as expected - the MAJOR PROBLEM that I have now is if you go to www.nwcopro.com you get automatically sent to the secure instance...
Can ANYONE explain how I can go back to the way it was? I did not change the config files and they are both pointing to the correct folders.
Also IIS is NOT running so I do not think it has anything to do with it - but something has changed in the way the domain resolves.
Oddly this IP
http://184.172.107.2:443 does not resolve at all
What I want is for http://www.nwcopro.com to go to my instance on port 80 and https://www.nwcopro.com to go to my application served on port 443.
As I said this has been working fine, I can't figure out what happened. I did not edit my config files or change the setup other than attempt to install IIS - but again I made sure that is not running. I cannot run IIS until I move user created columns from the security tables.
Many thanks to anyone with a solution.
