Re: Conditional expression / Xbasic / Syntax help please
"Quite a task" sums it up well Robin!
Personally I come from a car trade background and have zero coding expertise, so I get frustrated and enthused in equal measure with this project, on the one hand a lot of what I am trying to do has already been done for the car side so much better than I could manage, but on the other hand by using the Alpha environment I can develop applications that leave the competition nowhere near as advanced as we are in collating, deciphering and presenting information about the Truck brands we deal with. I have been using Alpha with this project for a number of years now and I am at a point now where I need to "get under the hood" more with coding, so I am doing everything I can to learn about xbasic etc and I have also booked to attend the Alpha developer conference in the fall. If any of you fancy being bored with windy explanations / have a laugh at my efforts then I will be more than happy to supply a beer and learn from my peers and if I can once again stress the value of the contributors on this message board, I think it speaks volumes in the tiny number of requests for help I have actually made because I have usually found my issue has already been answered in a previous post
I'll stop woffling on now and just say thanks again for all the direct / indirect help from you guys, it really is appreciated
Bryan
