I want to use a Custom Data Source in a report. I have defined the function and it returns JSON, but I get the attached error when trying to create the report.
The JSON created is
The function gets data from DBF and the report is a freeform desktop report.
I only found a brief description in AA What's New on this. For testing I passed a value to the function as above. But for actual use the parameter needs to be e, and use arguments to pass a value to the function. I did all that, but something is not working.
I generate the JASON from a dot variable. json_generate() has no option to include the schema. Is there anything else that will generate the schema? The schema is needed to avoid another error if no data is found.
