Tabbed_UI - Is there a way to redirect to previous page with xbasic?

I have an tabbed_UI pane setup for my navagation.

If I open a separate grid in one of the panes that has a button which opens an popup a5w that does some xbasic stuff, is there a way to execute a command either from that a5w page or onclose of that popup page to close that open pane and display the previous pane from where the user started?

This might help as a start. Place the following code in the AfterGridSubmit and/or the AfterRowSubmit event(s)

tbiObj._tbObj.remove(tbiObj._tbObj._curTabIndx);
// This deletes the existing tab pane when the submit button is pressed


OriginalTabName = "Acc Cat Limits"
// This is the name of the original tab pane to return to

NumberOfTabs=tbiObj._tbObj._lastTabIndx;
// Find out how many tabs there are


// Find out the pane number for the original tab pane
// The number can change every time a tab pane is added or deleted  
var i=NumberOfTabs;

  if (tbiObj._tbObj._items[i].html = OriginalTabName) {

Rather than hard coding the name of the original tab pane name it is possible to "discover" the name when the original tab pane with the grid loses focus.

Also the code needs to be enhanced to deal with the possbility that the user may have already deleted the original tab pane.

how do i make the cursor focus on log on id field for example?
in a typical index.a5w .. when open up for the first time,
i want the cursor be on the typical user_id field?
