I bow to the forum who most likely can offer a solution that is alluding me! I have the following code in my page:
dim tbl as P
dim qry as P
tbl = table.open("[pathalias.adb_path]\posts")
query.filter = "Poststatus='Active'.and.company_name<>''"
query.order = alltrim("site_city")
query.options = ""
qry = tbl.query_create()
tbl.fetch_first()
?"<table>"
while .not. tbl.fetch_eof()
?"<tr>"
... ===========================================================================
urlspecific = "http:Browsestatejobsbycity.a5w?vSpecificcity=Yes&vGenCity=No&"
sessionspecific = "vCity="+alltrim(tbl.site_city)+"&vState="+substr(tbl.Site_state,1,20)
displayspecific = "Narrow"
? "<a href=" + urlspecific+sessionspecific+"><font color=#678867 size=1>" + displayspecific + "</font></a>"
... ===========================================================================
tbl.fetch_next()
end while
tbl.site_city works fine everywhere except in my link code!
------> My problem is when there are two words in the tbl.site_city such as New York. When I use it as part of my link code (above) I get only New! and the rest of the string is cut off. I've tried many possibilities but no go. When the city is only one word "Minneapolis" the entire code works fine.
When I use ? tbl.site_city on a line by itself, the correct result is displayed on the page...New York.
Here is the link to the page I'm troubling with:

Any help very much appreciated!
