Publishing to remote sever broke file upload

Publishing to a host other than local caused the following not to work

it doesn't work with or without the commented line. I was told that the line wasn't necessary but it was required a while ago. You can browse and select your file but nothing happens when you submit.
I can't find the session folder on the server to see if the upload did take place and the problem is not the fault of opening and writing to the DB

It seems that there are a lot of things that operate differently with a remote host compared to a local one.

The message does not appear when you submit. Also the code is above the html for the page. It almost looks like its not even being executed.

The commented out line is absolutely not needed.

Are you by any chance publishing to either Alpha5Host or A5Online?

Just received an Email from Alpha5host and they say they are having a problem with another client re the file from blob function. They say they are running WAS V7.

Just to let you know that Alpha5host has corrected the problem and now fileupload works Uploads new photos just great.

Thanks to some great help from Alpha5Host, we were able to find a problem that only happened in a multi-site environment such as theirs. Their support team did a great job of pinpointing the trouble.
