Hello All!
I am a designer of a software program called PatrolTrak, which I have written in Alpha 5-V10.5. I am an old Clipper programmer and I am struggling to get it done. I have hit some roadblocks in my coding that I just can't seem to conquer. There's not a whole lot left to be done on the current version, however, there is much more work to be done down the road. PatrolTrak is used by security companies; it does daily activity and incident reporting, time and attendance, passdown information logging, etc. It also has a feature to ensure that security offcers are awake, alert and aware called "AAA." That is the module where I am having problems.
I am willing to pay for help, however, as I said, there is not alot left to be done. The carrot I can dangle is that I am moving the desktop program to a web-based system, which will also use hand-held devices that will synch data to the server. I am also incorporating electronic signatures into the system using pen pads. The web-based system will be a big, long-term project, which I plan to fund with sales of the PatrolTrak desktop software. If you are interested and want to take a look, my website is www.patroltrak.com.
If you like what you see, I will send you the current code along with my remaining needs--you in return can quote me your package price for wrapping up the desktop version, as well as your hourly rate for doing the web-based site. I will be moving my website to a hosting site for Alpha 5 within a couple weeks. I look forward to hearing from interested Alpha 5 developers!
