Popup Form

I have displayed a form as a popup window to let the
user know that some processing is taking place.
For some reason I can't close the form with xbasic.
I used the following code:

:Form.view("Processing","Popup")
Processing.close()

also used this

dim f as p
f=:form.view("Processing","Popup")
f.close()

The form will not close.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

The only thing that will close popup from script is
sys_send_keys("{Ctrl-F4}").

Steve, forgot to mention, but I'm sure you realize, that form has to have the focus, otherwise it may get you in trouble.

I also had this problem but realized that it was because I was editing the action script created by the button wizard. You may have to comment out (') or delete the first few lines of code. In some instances, if you still can't get the widow to close, I've used in a button on the popup form to close the form but not . I don't know if would work or not.
If you comment out the code correctly, the form will close with the standard close() on a button. Good luck.

Tom, have you really found that your code will allow popup forms to be closed with the form.close() method? I think I have tried you suggestion before and Had not found it to be true. What is your finding? Do you have other properties selected or unselected?
