I have a filter in a form attached to a set (one child attached "one to one").
Every day work comes in during the morning. It is logged into the Parent.
Then the work is started in the afternoon and finished the next morning.
The results of this work are kept in the child.
The filter asks Is there work to be done in the Parent that is not done in the child. ie Is "DO this" True (Parent)and "Not Done" true (Child).
The Parent has a character field in it that when is is filled in tells what work is to be done.
The child has several Numeric fields that are not filled in till the work is done.
The rub comes in the afternoon when we load the form, the morning work that is finished shows up, not the new work that is not. It is as if alpha 5 says "I already ran that filter once I do not need to run it again."
I then moved the filter to a saved query and ran that when the form was loaded.
Same Result.
I Then told my worker to run the query using "Query" and "Run saved Query".
Same Result.
Why can't I convince Alpha that there are new records of work to do and it needs to search for them?
My only other Idea is to put flags in the parent to track the work them i couls use indexes.
PS I do not know if this is relevent but when the data is logged in it is added to the Parent as a DB not as a Set.
