I've been looking some more but can't find why the avglegs table is still in use the second time the button is pressed. Seems to be properly closed by command. Even stuck a debug(1) in the saved script to step through the code.

I have it working with reperated runs with the button from a form.
It always prints 2 records - before I made the change, it was not emptying the file and the printed records were acuumulating
what i did was make a new form - same table(menu) and put the same button on the new form
there is something corrupted about the form itself, although I could not find what.


here is the code I used under the button on the new form:

Thank you very much for your work.

The bottom line is I think there could be a bug in the forms. I too made a new form and had everything working. But, then I turned off the toolbars and menus and the same problem started all over again.

So then I went to the files I sent and added the menu to the view and everything worked just fine. And that's with my original code.

I then went to my working application and just added the Menu to the view mode and now that one is working.
