I am a newcomer to Alpha Five. I have written my first script (but have not run it successfully), a simple one that basically does the following:
1. Prompts to ask whether a specific report should be printed.
2. If yes, the report is printed; if no, the report is bypassed and the script goes to a label called DO_REMINDER.
3. At DO_REMINDER, prompts to ask whether a second report should be printed.
4. If yes, the report is printed; if no, the report is bypassed and the script goes to a label called END.
When I run the script, the first message box is successfully displayed. Whether I reply with yes or no, I get an error message which tells me the following:
Script: print_shop_lists line 37
iif(print_r_list = .f., goto DO_REMINDER, )
No such field
print_r_list is a variable set after the first message box is answered. A display of the variables shows that this logical variable is present and is either true or false, depending on the response to the prompt.
DO_REMINDER is a label that exists in the script.
By the way, the prompts were created with the assistance of the Xbasic Script Genie, Display Boxes, Display a Message Box, and then selecting a Yes and No box display.
Can you tell me what is wrong with the iif.... statement on line 37? Any assistance will be appreciated.
